Crouching Tiger, Hidden Barber! Yes, it looks like the place where the Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon movie was filmed  Hong Cun 宏村, but this is even an older village called ChengKan 呈坎, Anhui Province of China. Near the slopes of Mount Huang or (Huangshan, 黄山), it has been a perfect stop over on our way back to Shanghai. Consider its architecture is a 1800 years old living document and example of Feng Shui 风水arranged according to the theory of "the Eight Trigrams" in the I Ching. We visited in a low season and found it quite a relaxed place to be.

The picture below is about one hidden gem we found there. In one of the "abandoned" side rooms of the 'Bao Lung Ge Temple' we found this little barber shop that couldn't have been left more unchanged in decades.
